The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

May 18, 2011 From Wheelchair Basketball Canada website Longueuil, QC – Team Quebec captured its first-ever National Championship title in front of a loud hometown crowd with a tight 49-46 defeat over the Edmonton Inferno in the final game at the 2011 Women’s CWBL National Championships in Longueuil, QC. Let's Play Spring Report
May 03, 2011 Let's Play sports chairs are in full action! In Prince George alone, over 1000 kids have had a chance to play in them thanks to the efforts of the Nancy and Avril Harris. The Kamloops School District has young kids everwhere experiencing fun in the chairs - that's all they were talking about after a training session with Mike Johnson. Meanwhile Brad Hagkull in Chilliwack and the entire Abbotsford team have had kids participating in inclusive play programs during the spring.
