The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

April 11, 2014 (Vancouver, BC) -BC Wheelchair Basketball Society congratulates Burnaby's Amanda Yan on winning the prestigious Wheelchair Basketball Canada True Sport award, which is given annually to an elite athlete with a commitment to fair play and inclusion.
