The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.
Kamloops Adapted Sports Associaton (KASA) Announces Its Official Launch

September 26, 2013 Kamloops, BC – Kamloops Adapted Sports Association (KASA) is thrilled to announce its official launch, Saturday October 5th 6-8:30pm on court at the Tournament Capital Centre (TCC) in Kamloops. KASA will be showcasing its three sport offerings: wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis and handcycling. BCWBS Launches Fun Minimal Disability Recruitment Video
September 04, 2013 If you play wheelchair basketball, you know that many participants are able-bodied or have minimal disabilities that allow them to walk. In fact, 40% of Canadian wheelchair basketball players are able-bodied or minimally disabled. To spread this message, BC Wheelchair Basketball Society teamed up with BC Wheelchair Sports Association and the Bridging the Gap Program to create this fun video. Rowing BC is teaming up with the Richmond Olympic Oval to host a Intro to Para Rowing session on August 25th. You can choose from two sessions: 10 am - 11:30 am, and noon - 1:30 pm. Each session costs $10 and each will teach you the basics of rowing and allow you to meet provincial coach Martin George.
