The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

BC-CWBL Finals in Victoria March 25-26th, 2017

March 20, 2017 The best wheelchair basketball teams in the province will battle for the title of BC-CWBL champion at the 2016-17 BC-CWBL Finals in Victoria this weekend. Successful Breakers Festival Weekend

Three B.C. Athletes Selected to Attend the U23 Team Canada Selection Camp Tryouts

March 02, 2017 A big congratulations to Ben "Fred" Hagkull, Tanner Jung and Jack Kosterman. They've been invited to try out for Team Canada's U23 Men's Team! Only 18 athletes were selected to attend the selection camp, which will take place at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre from March 20-24. If they're selected, the athletes will have the unique honour of playing in a World Championships on home soil. The team will compete at the 2017 Men's U23 World Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Toronto from June 8-16. read more...
Comox Club Had a Blast at Their Skills and Game Day

February 21, 2017 BCWBS visited the Comox Valley Wheelchair Sports Club on February 17 & 18. On the 17th, we visited their regular practice on Friday nights at the Comox Recreation Centre and found 16 people including a couple of guests from Lower Mainland and a couple of new local participants attending!
