The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

July 05, 2016 On June 26th 2016 Executive Director Sian Blyth, her daughter Abby, Program Coordinator Nadine Barbisan, Let's Play Director Marni Abbott-Peter and current athlete Trevor Flynn participated in the Vancouver Scotiabank Charity Challenge. YVR Day at the Richmond Oval- June 21st 2016

June 20, 2016 BC Wheelchair Basketball Society will be hosting a have-a-go at the Richmond Oval on Tuesday June 21st from 4:00-6:00pm in partnership with YVR, Richmond Olympic Experience (ROX) and BC Wheelchair Sports Association. Hoopfest’s 22nd Year !

May 18, 2016 On May 19th, 2016 - BC Wheelchair Basketball Society will host its biggest fundraiser, Hoopfest, at the Richmond Olympic Oval. This fun wheelchair basketball tournament will feature teams from corporate and community organizations. Teams have spent the past several months raising money and awareness for wheelchair basketball across the Lower Mainland, and have accumulated $19,000 in donations to date, with the goal of reaching $25,000 by the end of Thursday night. read more...

May 12, 2016 Victoria Wheelchair Sports is hosting the Island Game Day on May 22. The club invites all BCWBS individual and club members! April 29, 2016 It was an exciting weekend full of high intensity games during the 2016 CWBL National Championship in Kamloops last weekend!
