The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

December 01, 2014 Last month, we announced the 12 young men and women selected to compete at the 2015 Canada Winter Games. These athletes represent the best and brightest of our community, and they’ll do us proud this February when they represent Team BC on home soil in Prince George. Lower Mainland Division 2 Tournament Results
November 24, 2014 Seven teams met in the Division 2 BC-CWBL tournament in Lower Mainland on Nov 22 and 23rd. The tournament took place at Douglas College New Westminster campus on Saturday and Trinity Western University in Langley on Sunday. CWBL Western Conference BC Tournament Results
November 19, 2014 Last weekend (Nov 14 & 15) saw four CWBL teams competed their first Western Conference tournament of the season at Richmond Olympic Oval. BC entered two teams with a mixture of veteran and developing players including a few athletes from the newly selected Canada Games team. Edmonton Northern Lights consisted of 7 of 12 athletes on Alberta Canada Games team showed their strength by winning all their games on the weekend. read more...

Gold Rush Got a Head Start in the New Season of Division 2
October 30, 2014 Okanagan Thunder and BCWBS hosted the first Division 2 tournament at Constable Neil Bruce Middle School in Kelowna on Oct 25/26. Six teams out of seven that registered for this season’s BC-CWBL Division 2 League attended the tournament. The weekend saw a few close games including the game where Gold Rush beat the last season’s champions Cable Cars with a great come-back and the game where the host team Okanagan Thunder just missed a win by 1 point against Bull-Dawgs. read more...
