The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

July 23, 2012 BCWBS annual grant program is available again this year. Application deadline is October 1st, 2012. To be eligible, applications must be submitted by a recognized BCWBS club/team where individuals are members of BCWBS. Adapted Paddling Program on July 28
July 16, 2012 Here's a great cross training and summer activity opportunity! On July 28 and August 11 the City of Surrey is offering an adapted paddling program at Elgin Park. The program is going to be run by the Power For All Society, whose certified staff and volunteers will provide instruction on paddling and how to use the various adaptive equipment. Junior Regional Tournament - Regina, Saskatchewan
June 26, 2012 The BC Junior team competed in the Junior Regional Tournament in Regina, Saskatchewan on March 24-25. There were 3 teams at the tournament including the BC team, Saskatchewan and Alberta. Though BC came into the tournament as the smaller, younger and less experienced team, they made great strides and improved from beginning to end. Giving stellar full court defense and offensive poise was Jack Kosterman, Avril Harris and Erin Higgins. read more...
