The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

Heading to the Paralympics

June 25, 2012 A number of our athletes and coaches will be representing their country at the upcoming Paralympics in London, England this summer. Janet McLachlan, Elisha Williams, Jessica Vliegenthart, and Marni Abbott-Peter (coach) will be contributing their world-class skills to Team Canada; Matt Buchi goes as part of the US Women’s coaching staff; and Richard Peter and Bo Hedges will play major roles with the Men’s National team.
