The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

Kelowna Wheelchair Basketball Jamboree 2012 Reoprt
May 02, 2012 The 4th annual Kelowna Jamboree was hosted by Okanagan Thunder Wheelchair Basketball Club at Kelowna Secondary School on April 14 & 15. 13 players from Calgary flew into Kelowna for the weekend with some of them hitting the slopes of Big White for the last open week of skiing. Spokane, Seattle, Kamloops, Greater Vancouver and Kelowna were represented with players split onto teams throughout the two days. Comox Program Keeps Growing

April 27, 2012 Comox Valley Wheelchair Basketball just keeps growing since its start. In addition to their successful regular practices, Comox has hosted "Salish Sea Hoopfest" on March 18, inviting Powell River Ravens as well as Nanaimo Wheelchair Basketball Club.
