The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

Steve Nash Tournament Includes Wheelchair Basketball

April 10, 2012 Basketball BC hosted the Steve Nash Youth Challenge at a year-end tournament and for the second straight year Wheelchair Basketball participated.  Young players from across the province had a great basketball weekend at the Langley Events Centre. They shared the sport of wheelchair basketball in an exciting initiative where able-bodied basketball players had the opportunity to try playing their sport from a wheelchair.    read more...
