The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.

Annual Junior Wheelchair Basketball Challenge This Weekend

December 09, 2011 Come on out to check out our annual junior event, the Junior Wheelchair Basketball Challenge, this weekend at McRoberts Secondary School in Richmond. New to experienced players including, a few of the 2011 Canada Winter Games athletes, compete for the title in respective division: 10ft Performance and 10ft Challenge. Mitch coaches the Langley GoldRush Jr. Wheelchair team and he launched his idea to a meeting of Fraser Valley coaches, Emily Herd and Brad Hagkull, who were invited together for a planning meeting by BCWBS Program Coordinator, Makiko Harada.
