The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.
Fort St. John Wheelchair Basketball and the "Let's Play" Program Take to the Gym by Storm

September 27, 2012 On September 22nd, as part of SportZ Etravaganza faciliated by Pacific Sport Northern BC in conjunction with Sports Day in Canada, the BCWBS Northern Program brought a wheelchair basketball experience to the Fort St. John residents. Coach Avril and Program Coordinator Nancy were able to use two full size gyms at North Peace Secondary School. One for Wheelchair Basketball, and one for the "Let's Play" open gym. Junior Programs Resume in Lower Mainland

September 14, 2012 BCWBS Junior programs are starting up for another season in Lower Mainland! The junior wheelchair basketball programs are open to junior players ages 8 and up, both with a disability and without, from beginner to experienced players.
